Travel & Stay
We recommend that everyone stay in either the Carcassonne city center or Palaja. The latter is closer to the wedding venue but not as vibrant.
Getting There
Plane
Step 1
To get to Carcassonne, you can fly into any of the following cities:
Paris (CDG), Toulouse (TLS), Marseille (MRS), Montpellier (MPL), or Barcelona (BCN). There is also an airport in Carcassonne (CCF) but offers very limited flights.
Train
Step 2 — Option 1
From the cities listed, you can take a
train to Carcassonne directly.
Carcassonne is:
43 mins from Toulouse
1 hr and 30 mins from Montpellier
3 hrs 30 mins from Barcelona
3 hrs 30 mins from Marseille
5 hr 51 mins from Paris
Car
Step 2 — Option 2
If you want to rent a car to move around the area, Carcassonne is:
​1 hr 10 mins from Toulouse
1 hr 50 mins from Montpellier
3 hrs from Marseille
3 hrs 30 mins from Barcelona
7 hrs from Paris
Shuttles will be provided from Carcassonne/Palaja to the wedding venue and back on the wedding day.
If you're planning on renting a car, there will be plenty of parking for everyone at the Domaine.
